PEI-PBLG

PEI(10kd)-PBLG can encapsulate plasmids to form nanocomposites with particle size of 100~120nm,which is suitable for mediating plasmids into cells.The results showed that the nanoparticle complex had low sensitivity to transfection buffer,and could transfect all experimental cell lines in the presence of 10% serum,especially HeLa,followed by COS-7,Vero-E6 and ECV304;the transfection rate of PEI-PBLG(10kd)/pEGFP complex was 45.02%,which was higher than that of PEI (10kd)/pEGFP(29.16%);The cytotoxicity of PEI(10kd)-PBLG was significantly lower than Pei(25kd),Pei(10kd)and Pei(25kd)-PBLG.Pei(10kd)-PBLG,a new cationic polymer,not only improves the efficiency of Pei mediated gene transfection,but also reduces its cytotoxicity and improves its biocompatibility.
