LysoTracker Red DND-99 is a lysotracker probe.Lysotracker probe is an acidic fluorescent probe, used for labeling and tracing acidic organelles in living cells.The LysoTracker probes consist of a fluorophore linked to a weak base that is only partially protonated at neutral pH. This allows LysoTracker probes to freely permeate cell membranes enabling them to label live cells. LysoTracker probes are highly selective for acidic organelles, and unlike dinitrophenyl (DNP), LysoTracker probes do not require use of a second antibody for detection.
