Product description
DSPE-PEOz is a type of lipid polymer conjugate that combines a phospholipid called distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DSPE) with a poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide) triblock copolymer called poloxamer or PEOz.DSPE is a commonly used phospholipid in the design of liposomal drug delivery systems. It has a hydrophobic tail that can insert into the lipid bilayer, while the hydrophilic head group remains exposed to the surrounding medium. DSPE imparts stability and biocompatibility to liposomes, making them suitable for encapsulating and delivering a variety of therapeutic agents.
