DSPE (MPEG DSPE) is a kind of phospholipid peg derivative with terminal DSPE group at PEG end.Fucose is a kind of hexose,also known as 6-deoxy-l-galactose, and can be regarded as a methyl pentose.The majority of fucose in nature is L-fucose,and D-fucose is only found in some sugar glycans as rare sugars.Fucose is less than one hydroxyl group in the sixth carbon atom than the general hexasaccharide,so fucose is less hydrophilic than other monosaccharides,but more hydrophobic.
