DSPE-CY7/1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-Cyanine7. DSPE is conjugated with CY7, it forms a lipophilic probe that can be incorporated into lipid-based nanoparticles like liposomes or incorporated into cell membranes. Due to the fluorescence properties of CY7, DSPE-CY7 conjugates can be used in imaging applications such as fluorescence microscopy, in vivo imaging, and flow cytometry, where the near-infrared properties of CY7 enable deeper tissue penetration and reduced autofluorescence compared to visible-light fluorophores.
