DOTA-RGD is a radiolabeled peptide-based compound used in molecular imaging and targeted therapy.DOTA-RGD can also be used for targeted therapy by attaching therapeutic isotopes, such as Lutetium-177, to the RGD peptide. This enables the delivery of localized radiation to tumors with high integrin receptor expression, potentially leading to the destruction of cancer cells.
