Citric acid modified gold nanoparticles (approximately 13nm) are spherical gold nanoparticles with highly uniform size distribution and excellent colloidal stability. The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption peak of this nanoparticle is located at around 520 nm, making it a commonly used model system in biosensing, colorimetric detection, and nanomedicine research. Due to the formation of a negatively charged stable layer on the surface of gold by citrate ions, the electrostatic repulsion between particles is strong, which can effectively prevent aggregation and is suitable for long-term storage and various biological coupling reactions.
