Bodipy-SM102

Bodipy-SM102 is a functionalized fluorescent lipid that covalently labels BODIPY fluorescent groups onto the mRNA delivery core ionizable lipid SM-102. It is a core tool in the field of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) tracking research.It can be used for live imaging of small animals, accurately quantifying the enrichment efficiency of LNP in organs such as the liver and spleen, and evaluating the in vivo circulating half-life of different formulations of LNP. Combined with flow cytometry, rapidly quantify the uptake rate of Bodipy labeled LNP in different cell lines and optimize the transfection scheme for difficult to transfect primary cells.
