BDP-TMR is a fluorophore for TAMRA filter sets. In contrast to TAMRA, however, the dye has a very good quantum yield and thus a high fluorescence intensity.This derivative carries a primary amino group that can be used for conjugation with electrophiles. It is also suitable for enzymatic transamination.
