UDP-Gal/UDP-a-D-galactose ammonium salt/CAS: 2956-16-3/UDP-Galactose is a nucleotide sugar. UDP-Gal can block BALB/3T12 cell development. UDP-Gal has been used as a component in galactosyltransferase labeling buffer to prelabel terminal N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) on immunoglobulin chains. It has also been used as a component in Hyp O-galactosyltransferase (HPGT) assay.
