Tea polyphenols can effectively reduce oxidized graphene,which not only utilizes the reducibility of phenolic hydroxyl groups in tea polyphenols,but also undergoes surface non covalent modification of the obtained graphene.The anti thrombotic properties of tea polyphenols and the large amount of negative charge they carry neutralize the charge of positively charged graphene oxide,thereby reducing it to graphene.This process greatly reduces the toxic effect of graphene oxide
