Streptavidin and CY5 modified mesoporous silica nanoparticles are functionalized nanomaterials. By modifying streptavidin and CY5 on the surface of mesoporous silica nanoparticles, they can interact with biotin labeled molecules or biotin bound biomolecules. CY5 modification enables mesoporous silica nanoparticles to exhibit red fluorescence emission ability. This enables the nanoparticles to be used as probes in biological imaging and analysis, enabling visual localization and quantitative analysis of samples by detecting their fluorescence signals.
