Procollagen Type I (212-216),CAS:149128-48-3
H-Lys-Thr-Thr-Lys-Ser-OH
Product description
A subfragment of the carboxy-terminal propeptide of type I collagen (residues 197-241) was shown to stimulate extracellular matrix biosynthesis in fibroblasts. The pentapeptide KTTKS has been found to be the minimum sequence necessary for this potent stimulation of collagen and fibronectin production in a variety of mesenchymal cells.
