It is made by treating the chitin shells of shrimp and other crustaceans with an alkaline substance, like sodium hydroxide.Polyphenylene Sulfide-chitosan is a block copolymer composed of Polyphenylene Sulfide and chitosan .The nanoscale structures created from block copolymers could potentially be used for creating devices for use in computer memory, nanoscale-templating and nanoscale separations.Polyglutamic acid is a polymer of the amino acid glutamic acid.
