Product description
The 1,2-polybutadiene structure has a higher 1,2-vinyl content,which results in different physical properties compared to the more common 1,4-polybutadiene.The polymer chains have a high degree of elasticity and low glass transition temperature due to the vinyl content.PCL is commonly synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone using catalysts.It is a semicrystalline polymer with a low melting point and is often used for its biodegradability and biocompatibility in medical applications.
