Poly N isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAM),which has hydrophilic amido and hydrophobic isopropyl groups on the macromolecular chain,makes the linear PNIPAM aqueous solution and crosslinked PNIPAM hydrogel exhibit temperature sensitive characteristics.Poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) is soluble in cold water and precipitates when heated to 40 ℃.Asa representative of thermosensitive polymer materials,PNIPAM has been widely used in drug controlled release, biochemical separation and chemical sensors.
