PLGA-SS-PEG-MAL,Poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide)-S-S-Polyethylene glycol-Maleimide is a biodegradable functional amphiphilic block copolymer which hydrophilicblock PEG and hydrophobic block PLGA are linked by disulfide bond,, it canself-assemble into polymeric micelles, Maleimide on the micelle surface canconjugate with peptides, antibodies, proteins and others which contain Thiolgroups on the surface. when the micelle encounters DTT, the disulfide bondbreaks and accelerates the release of the drug.
