Poly(ε-caprolactone),also known as PCL,is a low melting point polymer obtained by ring opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone,which can be completely decomposed by microorganisms in both anaerobic and aerobic environments.Acetyl group is an acyl functional group composed of methyl and carbonyl groups.Acetyl group exists in many compounds,including acetylcholine,acetaminophen,acetic acid,acetylchloride,acetophenone,acetamide and acetic anhydride.
