Polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimer is one of the earliest dendrimers.PAMAM dendrimer has a very regular and delicate structure,and its molecular volume, shape and functional groups can be precisely controlled.NHS (N-hydroxysuccinimide),the uncharged analog of Sulfo-NHS (N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide),enables control and modification of carbodiimide crosslinking reactions involving activation of carboxylates(-COOH) for conjugation with primary amines(-NH2).
