Vancomycin kills bacteria by inhibiting their growth and reproduction.This drug interferes with the synthesis of cell wall by interfering with peptidoglycan,a key component in the structure of bacterial cell wall,and inhibits the production of phospholipids and peptides in the cell wall.Polyamidoamine(PAMAM)dendrimers are hyperbranched polymers with unparalleled molecular uniformity,narrow molecular weight distribution,defined size and shape characteristics and a multifunctional terminal surface.
