Palmitic acid-biotin

Biotin-Palmitic acid is a bifunctional amphiphilic molecule formed by the coupling of palmitic acid and biotin through chemical bonds. It can be used as a live cell membrane tracking tool, combined with streptavidin fluorescent dye, to visually observe the distribution and endocytosis process of the cell membrane. It can also serve as an exclusive probe for lipid modification, capturing membrane proteins and lipid raft signaling proteins modified by palmitoylation in cells, and studying protein lipid modification and downstream signaling pathways.
