NBD-glucose

NBD-Glucose/7-Nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazol-4-yl-glucose/Glucose,NBD labeled is a fluorescent glucose analog in which D-glucose is covalently linked to the environment-sensitive green dye NBD(7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazole;Ex/Em≈465/535 nm).
It maintains recognition of glucose by glucose transporters and lectins, while providing bright green fluorescence for tracking sugar uptake and metabolism.
Applications:
Monitoring glucose transporter (GLUT) activity.
Studying glucose uptake kinetics in cells or tissues.
Evaluating drug or nanoparticle glucose targeting.
