Nitrogen doped-carbon quantum dots,N-CQDs from ruixi.Nitrogen doped-carbon quantum dots (n-cqds) were synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method using glucose and glycine as mixed carbon sources.The morphology,structure, composition,optical properties and cytotoxicity of n-cqds were characterized. Finally,they were applied to cell imaging.Quantum dots (QDs),also known as semiconductor nanocrystals,are semiconductor nanomaterials whose radius is less than or close to the exciton Bohr radius and can receive excited light to produce fluorescence.
