m-PEG4-TCO is commonly used for conjugating biomolecules, such as proteins and nucleic acids, to other molecules, surfaces, or tags. Its maleimide group allows for selective conjugation to thiol-containing biomolecules, while the PEG spacer provides the necessary solubility and flexibility.
