Mandelic acid-FITC
Mandelic acid-Fluorescein isothiocyanate
Product description
Mandelic acid and its derivatives are metabolites of epinephrine and norepinephrine by monoamine oxidase and catecholamine-O-methyltransferase in vivo. There is a chiral carbon atom in mandelic acid molecule,so there are(R)and (s) enantiomers.Fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)is a derivative of fluorescein, which is widely used in flow cytometry and other fields.FITC is reactive to nucleophiles including amines and sulfhydryls on proteins. The excitation and emission peak wavelength of FITC is about 495 nm/519 nm,which makes it green. Like most fluorescent dyes,it is prone to photobleaching.
