Dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine(DPPC)is a fully saturated 16:0 carbon chain with no double bonds and strong intermolecular forces,forming a highly ordered lipid bilayer structure.Due to the tight arrangement of saturated fatty acid chains,it is solid at room temperature and has a high phase transition temperature (about 41℃).It is necessary to control the temperature above this value during preparation to ensure the uniformity of the lipid bilayer.
