Lyophosome made from Saturated Phosphatidylcholine(PC)(100% 14:0-18:0 PC),Composed of 100% 14:0-16:00 PC(mixed saturated phosphatidylcholine),it contains saturated fatty acid chains of tetradecanoic acid(14:0)and hexadecanoic acid(16:0),with no double bonds and stable structure.Saturated fatty acid chains form a tight lipid bilayer through strong van der Waals forces,with high membrane mechanical strength and low permeability,making it suitable for encapsulating hydrophilic drugs.The non double bond structure significantly reduces the risk of oxidation,and the long-term storage stability after freeze-drying is better than that of liposomes containing unsaturated chains.
