Lyophosome made from Diether Lipids(100% 18:1 Diether PC),Double ether lipids anchor isoprene chains to the glycerol backbone through ether bonds.Compared to traditional ester bond lipids,their chemical stability is significantly enhanced and they are not easily degraded under high temperature,extreme pH,or oxidative conditions.The phase behavior of the ether-linked phospholipid bilayer membranes in ambient pressure is almost equivalent to that of the ester-linked phospholipid bilayer membranes under high temperatures and pressures,and the difference in the phase behavior decrease as the alkyl-chain length increases.
