Leptin Receptor (long) Peptide
Leptin Receptor (long) Peptide
Product description
The Leptin receptor (OB receptor, OBR) is the receptor for the obesity factor (leptin). The Leptin receptor is closely related to the gp130 signal transducing component common to the IL-6, LIF, CNTF and G-CSF receptors. The Leptin receptor has multiple isoforms (A-E) with isoform B (OBRb) being the long single-pass type I membrane receptor, isoform C (OBRa) carrying a short cytoplasmic domain, and isoform E a shorter secreted form. This blocking peptide is from the long form (isoform B).
