Product description
DTT is superior to the commonly used surface diluent mercaptohexanol because of its low volatility, allowing for rapid and repeatable control of surface coverage of AuNPs using only micro molar concentrations of DTT. After adsorption, DTT forms a dense monolayer on the gold surface, providing anti fouling ability. Surface covered DTT regulation can be widely used to optimize the performance of DNA modified AuNP, for biosensors, drug delivery, and therapeutic applications.
