Product description
Phaseolus vulgaris lectin is the name of a lectin family. Each family is composed of four subunits. There are two different types of subunits. One of them is mainly involved in red blood cell agglutination and is designated as the "E" subunit (for red blood cell agglutinin). PHA-E has strong hemagglutination activity, but is a weak mitogen.
