FITC is usually yellow,brown or brownish yellow powder or crystal with stable properties and can be stored for several years at low temperature.Under alkaline conditions,the carboamide bond of FITC can covalently bind with lysine amino group on antibody protein to form FITC protein conjugate,namely fluorescent antibody or fluorescent conjugate.
