FAP inhibitors (FAPIs) are a class of molecules that target fibroblast activation protein (FAP), a protein overexpressed in various cancers and activated fibroblasts at wound healing or inflammatory sites. These inhibitors are being investigated for their potential in cancer diagnosis and therapy, particularly in imaging using PET scans and in targeted radiotherapy.
