A pH responsive cell penetrating peptide modified liposome th lip was synthesized by introducing th into liposomes.Due to the pH sensitivity of th, the transmembrane activity of th is masked in blood circulation and normal tissues;when th lip reaches tumor tissue,histidine in th sequence is protonated, which makes the surface charge of th lip turn from negative to positive, and the transmembrane activity of th is activated,which increases the uptake of th lip by tumor cells.In vitro studies showed that paclitaxel loaded liposome PTX th lip could effectively inhibit the growth of tumor cells and induce apoptosis in a pH dependent manner.
