Polyethylene glycol polylactic acid can be used as drug loaded microspheres, microcapsules,vesicles and micelles,which can be used to achieve drug sustained-release and controlled-release.It can also be used as a tissue engineering scaffold with good hydrophilicity.Polyethylene glycol(PEG)-coupled DSPE is hydrophilic and can be used for drug delivery,gene transfection and biomolecular modification.Gold nanoparticles are the tiny particles of gold,which have high electron density,dielectric properties and catalysis.They can combine with a variety of biological macromolecules without affecting their biological activities.Gold nanoparticles with different particle sizes can be easily prepared by reduction of chloroauric acid.The color of gold nanoparticles varies from red to purple according to the diameter.
