DBCO-Vancomycin

Dibenzocyclooctyne-Vancomycin/Vancomycin-DBCO is a customized functional derivative designed for the fields of bioorthogonal chemistry and targeted antibacterial applications. Based on the Gram positive bacterial targeting properties of vancomycin and the click reaction activity of DBCO, specific fluorescent labeling and in vivo imaging of bacteria can be achieved by coupling with azide modified fluorescent dyes and nanoparticles. As a bifunctional cross-linking unit, it reacts with azide modified hydrogel and biological scaffold to prepare medical implant materials with long-term antibacterial properties for wound infection prevention and control.
