DBCO-BODIPY FL,Dibenzocyclooctyne-BODIPY FL from ruixi.Dibenzocyclooctyne (dbco) is a kind of cycloalkyne.In aqueous solution,the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction and azide reaction are promoted by strain.This kind of biorthogonal reaction is also called copper free click reaction.The reaction has good selectivity and biocompatibility,and can form covalent bonds with functional biological systems.Bodipyfl dye is a bright green fluorescent dye with relatively long excited state lifetime (usually 5 nanoseconds or longer) and high extinction coefficient and fluorescence quantum yield,which is very useful for fluorescence polarization based analysis and large two-photon cross-section of multiphoton excitation.Compared with Alexa fluoru488 dye and fluorescein (FITC),BODIPY dye has unique hydrophobicity and is very suitable for dyeing lipids,membranes and other lipophilic compounds.
