DBCO-Adamantane

DBCO-Adamantane/Dibenzocyclooctyne-Adamantane is a linear bifunctional molecule. It can be applied to reversible labeling on cell surfaces, first fixing molecules by coupling DBCO with azide groups on the cell surface, and then visualizing cells by using adamantane combined with fluorescently labeled β - cyclodextrin. The reversible operation can be completed through competitive elution. It is also used for protein directed fixation, relying on the supramolecular interaction of adamantane/cyclodextrin to achieve controllable enzyme fixation, retaining biological activity while enhancing system stability.
