Cinnamycin-PEG3-NOTA

Cinnamycin-PEG3-NOTA is a composite molecule that combines the antimicrobial peptide Cinnamycin, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and NOTA (6-aza-3,9-diazabicyclo[5.2.0]nonane-6- alcohol). Cinnamycin is a natural antibacterial peptide. Cinnamycin is linked to PEG to form Cinnamycin-PEG. PEG is a biocompatible polymer with good biodegradability and water solubility. It protects the peptide chain from enzymatic degradation while reducing the cell membrane permeability of the peptide chain. It is capable of binding to many metal ions.
