It can be used for liposome modification, antigen targeted delivery, vaccine stabilizer development, and to enhance the membrane stability and immune response efficiency of carriers. As an antigen to prepare cholesterol specific antibodies for animal immunization, it can also be encapsulated in a solid-phase carrier for ELISA detection of cholesterol, with a titer of ≥ 1:5000.
