Chitosan-Sodium Glycerophosphate Gel

Chitosan, a basic aminopolysaccharide, can be obtained by deacetylation of chitin. The mixed solution of chitosan and GP is liquid at room temperature, but when this mixed solution is injected into the body, it turns into a gel. The method enables the preparation of a hydrogel which maintains a liquid state at low temperature and turns into a gel at body temperature, and the hydrogel has good biocompatibility.
