Ce6-NHS
Chlorin e6 N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) Ester
Product description
Ce6-NHS is a chlorophyll derivative that is photosensitive and capable of producing singlet oxygen when activated with light (typically in the red to near-infrared spectrum).Ce6-NHS exhibits strong absorbance and fluorescence which can be utilized in imaging. It can generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon light activation, making it suitable for photodynamic therapy applications to target cancer cells. Used in PDT for the treatment of various cancers, as well as in imaging and diagnostic applications due to its fluorescence properties.
N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) Ester/NHS esters are often used in bioconjugation to attach compounds (like Ce6) to proteins, peptides, or other biomolecules without causing significant steric hindrance or denaturation.NHS esters are widely used in biochemistry and biotechnology for labeling proteins and other biomolecules.
