C-Type Natriuretic Peptide (Chicken)
C-Type Natriuretic Peptide (Chicken)
Product description
C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP-22) is found in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid. CNP-22 is an agonist for the natriuretic peptide receptor NPR2 (NPRB) and has affinity for NPR3 (NPRC3). CNP-22 inhibits L-type calcium currents in myocytes and has antiproliferative effects in cardiac fibroblasts in vitro. It regulates cartilage homeostasis, body fluid volume and has vasodilatory activity in vivo. This peptide corresponds to the CNP-22 domain in chicken and turkey.
