Rosin acid is a kind of tricyclic diterpenoid oxygenated compound,which is one of the most important resin acids.Insoluble in water,soluble in general organic solvents and dilute sodium hydroxide solution,soluble in alcohol,benzene, chloroform,acetone,ether and carbon disulfide.Biotin is also known as vitamin H and coenzyme R.its main function is to act as coenzyme in decarboxylation carboxylation reaction and deamination reaction.It can transfer CO2 from one compound to another,so that one compound becomes another.
