Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (4-24), frog
Product description
Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (4-24), frog/CAS:118691-44-4 from ruixi. ANP (4-24) is a 21-aa bioactive peptide found in frog heart extract with diuretic/natriuretic and vasorelaxant activities. Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (ANP) is a cardiovascular hormone which is synthesized in cardiac muscular cells. It is released in response to stretching of atrial walls, Endothelin, and stimulation of β-adrenoreceptors. ANP increases renal sodium excretion resulting in decreased expanded extracellular fluid volume (ECF). ANP is degraded by neutral endopeptidase (NEP).
