AC-PEG-N3

Acrylate-PEG-Azide is a linear bifunctional PEG linker with a reactive azide (N3) and an acrylate. Azide is useful for PEGylation via click chemistry with alkyne or acetylene or DBCO. The acrylate group undergoes Michael addition reaction with thiol groups and polymerization reaction. Click chemistry is one of the most popular PEGylation reactions that either adds PEG to a biomolecule, particle, surface or crosslinks two molecules and particles, or forms hydrogels, drug delivery systems.
