(Ac-KQL) 2R110 is a fluorescent substrate, and non fluorescent R110 substrates produce bright green fluorescent R110 products (Ex/Em=494/521 nm), which are easily detected by FITC filters. Generally speaking, R110 substrates are more sensitive than AMC-, AFC-, or 4-nitroaniline substrates. R110 substrate is used to detect the activity of proteases in proteasomes.
