DMPC (14:0 PC):dimmyristoyl phosphatidylcholine,containing two 14:0 saturated fatty acid chains,phase transition temperature(Tm)is about 23 ℃, and it is gelatinous at room temperature.Cholesterol:accounts for 30% molar ratio,enhances membrane stability by filling phospholipid gaps,reduces liposome permeability,and inhibits lipid crystallization.The addition of cholesterol increases the stability and fluidity of lipid membranes,especially near the phase transition temperature.
