Product description

This liposome contains two 17 carbon saturated fatty acid chains(C17:0) without double bonds,forming a tight and highly ordered lipid bilayer structure. Compared to short chain phospholipids(such as C14:0),their intermolecular forces are stronger and the lipid bilayer rigidity is higher.Cholesterol:accounts for 30% molar ratio,reduces membrane fluidity by filling phospholipid gaps, inhibits phospholipid crystallization,significantly enhances the mechanical stability and drug encapsulation efficiency of liposomes.
