Lyophilosome(freeze-dried liposomes)prepared from 100% 14:0 PC(DMPC)is a liposome freeze-dried formulation based on dimeric phosphatidylcholine (DMPC).It uses fully saturated phosphatidylcholine(14:0 PC),and the fatty acid chains exist in a straight chain form without double bonds,forming a tightly arranged lipid bilayer.The intermolecular forces are strong,and it is solid at room temperature with a high phase transition temperature(melting point).
